Well, I am excited to announce that Kaylynn is speaking her first words: hi, bye, baba. She waves her hand while saying hi and bye. She also says baba when she is hungry and I am making her bottle.

Ditto Baby Shakes The Bed
Ditto baby decided to show her strength today and shake the bed (while mommy was at school). Grandma tried to take a video of this little event, but she wasn't tech savy enough to pull it off.
Kaylynn is one strong and independent baby. She wants to hold her own bottles, and she wants to feed herself! She giggles when she stands up, and takes baby steps. She loves to be independent, but mommy wants her to stay a baby for a little while longer.

A Day With Mommy
Kaylynn and I spent the day on campus. My professor was gracious enough to let me bring my daughter to school with me. We sat in another room and watched my class on T.V. Occasionally, we would pop over into the other room for activities. Kaylynn was fabulous the entire day. She sat quietly on my lap and listened the professor while we were in the room with my other classmates. She played quietly while we were in the T.V. room as well.
Mommy brought a spread of toys to entertain Kaylynn while we were in the T.V. room. Mommy could talk to the professor and her classmates via computer. Technology is awesome!
Mommy was off-task quite a bit when she was in the other room. She couldn't stop playing with baby Kaylynn and taking pictures of baby Kaylynn.
Mommy even played hide-n-seek with baby Kaylynn. This is a picture of Kaylynn running away from mommy. She enjoyed crawling through the tables. Kaylynn loved exploring her new environment.
Kaylynn's First College Visit
Kaylynn Goes To College
Today Kaylynn accompanied me to a class. My professor was gracious enough to let me bring her to class since my mother couldn't watch her. The first thing we did when we arrived on campus was to see the huge water fountain.
She loved the fountain on campus. Mommy pushed her up, down, and around the fountain! Kaylynn was mesmerized by the flowing water.
Kaylynn thought the fountain was cool! I am sure we will have to visit the fountain again when she is old enough to run and play through the fountain.

Swing In The Park
I took Kaylynn to the park today. We didn't stay long since it was so hot outside! When we came back, Kaylynn and I enjoyed some tasty watermelon! She is growing up so fast! It so much fun watching her experience new things! Motherhood is a blessing from God!

Tuesday Toot
Tuesday Toot is a time where mommies in the blogamama community toot their own horn. My toot for this past week: I finished another online graduate course! This is no easy task when I am constantly following a crawling baby! My daughter loves to get into mischief, but who can blame her? She loves to explore her environment, and I love to watch her. It is so enjoyable seeing her "discover" something new; however, it is quite challenging to find time to work on homework, but I manage...and I currently have a 4.0 grade average! (Let's hope that I can keep this up!)

Playing Kaylynn
I just can't stop taking pictures and video snipits of my daughter! I am having a blast staying home her. Starting Monday, I will have to go on campus for two classes. I am a little sad :(
Kaylynn Goes Grocery Shopping
Kaylynn loves to go grocery shopping!
She watches all the people go by.
She especially likes to watch the other children.
Krawling Kaylynn
I miss you Uncle Chad. I can't wait to see you again. My mommy keeps uploading these videos especially for you. Thank you for calling and checking up on me. You are the best uncle ever!
P.S. Christmas is coming up soon. I hope you are saving up your money to buy me lots of toys!
