A Mystery To Mommy

Do you believe that these colorful buttons make my daughter laugh uncontrolably when she sees them? Ever since my daughter was two months old, she would giggle everytime she saw these buttons. These buttons belong to her baby swing which is stationed next to the rocking chair where I sit when I feed Kaylynn. I know its the little things in life that make children happy, but buttons?? Why does Kaylynn like these buttons so much?

Playing With Kaylynn

I love to spend time with my daughter, Kaylynn Michelle. She is the love of my life. I love to introduce toys and see the expression on her face when she plays with them. One of her favorite toys is Baby Leap Frog. This toy sings the alphabet and counts from 1-10. It also plays classical music and teaches colors/shapes.

A Valentine From Grandpa

Kaylynn's first Valentine was from her Grandpa. He purchased a singing Elvis Bear from Walmart. The bear sings "I Am All Shook Up". Kaylynn loves this gift from her grandpa. She chuckles out loud when it plays! He also purchased her some really cute outfits. Kaylynn is well loved by her grandpa!

Girls Day Out

Kaylynn, Grandma, and Mommy decided to take the afternoon to go shopping and find some bargains at the mall! Mommy found lots of good bargains that were on clearance with an additional 75% off for Kaylynn! Mommy did real good! Kaylynn loves to go shopping at the mall. She loves to look at all the people. She didn't mind skipping any naps for a day out with the girls! Mommy is real lucky to have such a wonderful baby who behaves so well in public!

Education

Education is extremely important to me. For the past seven years, I have taught early elementary. As a teacher, I know how important parent involvement is in education. Now being a mother, the most important child in my life is my daughter, Kaylynn Michelle. I have so many dreams and aspirations for her. Most importantly I want Kaylynn to have the ability to do what ever she wants in life. If that is going to Harvard or Yale (which I hope she does), then I will support her in any way that I can. That is why I am putting money aside for her college education. I am also spending time reading books to her, and watching educational DVD's with. She listens to books on tapes as well as musical cds. I try to make sure her environment is rich in language. I constantly talk to her, and she grunts and babbles back. My goal is to teach her sign language through some baby signing videos that I borrowed from the public library. We also watch phonics DVD's, but she doesn't seem to interested in them yet. Her favorite DVD's appear to be BOZ, Veggie Tales, and Praise Baby (DVD's that I bought from the Christian Bookstore). Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Kaylynn loves to watch Barbie DVD's as well. (She gets that from her mommy who loved Barbies!) Kaylynn is the love of my life. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with a wonderful, healthy baby girl who loves to listen to stories!
