I Don't Want To Smile Mom!

Pebbles Here, Pebbles There

Kaylynn just has to decorate the playground with pebbles!

Gotcha!

Mommy finally snapped a picture of Ditty smiling!

This is Fun!

Kaylynn is getting to the point where she wants to climb and play on the playground equipment.

When we first started going to the park, she wanted to watch all the other children.

Now, she wants to play with the equipment all by herself!

She gets mad if you try to help her! She wants to do everything by herself!

She had so much fun!

Swing

Kaylynn added a new word to her vocabulary "swing". She is added several new words a day! She loves to push the swings at the park :)

Exploring

Kaylynn loves the outdoors! This is a picture of her walking around and watching the other kiddos!

Sliding Around

Too Much Tunnel Fun

Lately the weather has been wonderful, so Kaylynn and I have been going to the park. With each visit, she gets more daring and explores a different piece of playground equipment. I was pleasantly surprised when she decided to crawl through the tunnel. She had so much fun!

Hi Mommy!

ABC's & 123's

Kaylynn is now able to count three objects. While looking at her counting books, Kaylynn points and says "One...two....tree!" She also can recognize the letter G, A, B, C, and P for some random reason!

Growing Like A Weed

Apparently Kaylynn is wearing size 2T and twenty-four months because she cannot fit into any of her size 18months pjs! Its a good thing that we have a few pjs size twenty-four months. It looks like mommy will be going shopping tomorrow! We are buying Kaylynn new clothes every three months!

Levers???

Yesterday, my mother told me that Kaylynn watch an entire episode of a children's science show on levers. My mom couldn't believe how interested Kaylyn was learning about levers! Hmm....perhaps Ditty is going to be an engineer someday!

Children's Musuem

Kaylynn enjoyed playing in the toddler
section of the children's musuem.

We had a wonderful time!

Come On Mammaw!

Kaylynn loves to have people follow her around
the house.

However, mammaw was busy in the kitchen.

So, Kaylynn tries to convince mammaw by showing
her some love.

I don't think it is working, Kaylynn. You may
have pampa wrapped around your finger, but
mammaw wants to wash her dishes!

Follow Me Pampa!

Every evening, Kaylynn grabs pampa's finger
and proceeds to show him around the house.
She consistently does this every evening. Grandpa
loves this ritual as much as Kaylynn (or perhaps more!)

Trying To Take A Picture

Taking a picture of my beautiful daughter can
be a daunting task. As soon as I take out my
camera, she tries to grab it out of my hand.

See, See, See what I mean? Look at this child!
She is one persisent toddler!

She is not going to give up! She wants mommy's
camera!

Watching A Movie

Mommy & Ditty

There is the bus!

Today I was fortunate to have relaxing morning with my daughter. I am usually gone before she gets up in the morning! I couldn't believe my ears when I heard her say, "There is the bus!" Then my mother pipes up, "She has been saying that phrase for an entire month!" I guess she gets up every morning and looks out the window to see the school bus pick up the children. Kaylynn just turned 16months today. I can't believe how much she is talking already!
