Well, I am excited to announce that Kaylynn is speaking her first words: hi, bye, baba. She waves her hand while saying hi and bye. She also says baba when she is hungry and I am making her bottle.
YIPPY I'm so excited for you, Kaylynn. The world is awaiting your every descriptive word!

I haven't perfect it yet and still give praises easily because of my culture and social upbringin. I did not just pull this out of my hat or just agree to adapt other great philosophers' theories. This is from my personal experience with my oldest son who is now 24. He gave up purusing, trying his best on anything just because he was not chosen The student of the week at his private Montessori school one week when he was 8. He told me why tried if I can't be the best! Imagine how I felt. He was a perfectionist at young age. I learned alot since. Don't get me wrong. I have no regret with the type of experience my oldest son had. He is very kind and gentle and content in simply living...no career ambitious. I still give praises, in moderation, but more selective, more mindful.
Thanks so much for listening to my thoughts--often incohesive--as I am everchanging, growing (hopefully). Have a great weekend! We are off to saying goodbye to a good friend today who is moving to Spokane, WA--a bit of sadness in this occasion as I've lost two great friends in a month!
