Kaylynn and Mommy loving the train ride at the zoo! Kaylynn took her first trip to the Indianapolis zoo with her mommy, daddy, and grandma. Even though she was feeling slightly under the weather, she had fun looking at all the animals.
Kaylynn loves owls!
But I think she enjoyed the little chickens most of all!
Even though Kaylynn opted out of the pony ride--she still wanted to pet the pony!
I can't believe how quickly my little girl is growing up! I vividly remember holding her in my arms when she was days old--now she is playing mommy and toting her babies around the house! Every morning she wakes up and immediately grabs her baby dolls. She gives them a kiss and she makes her babies kiss each other. She pushes them in her grocery cart or stroller and says "Bye-Bye"--indicating that they are going on a trip. Eighteen months and she is already exhibiting a tremendous amount of inventive play. She feeds her babies, gives them a bath, and takes them bye-bye! Kaylynn is so thoughtful and caring!
Look at Kaylynn's new toy! It came with the house that my parents just purchased! The owners left a few toys especially for Ditty!
Here is the lake behind my parents house! Kaylynn enjoyed watching the frolicking geese!
This toy is so amazing! I was contemplating buying one for Kaylynn, but I wasn't sure if Kaylynn would like it! I am glad I didn't buy one because this one was free!
Kaylynn by our barn. I wish she would smile!
Kaylynn by the woods. We are looking forward to watching the deer this fall!
Being a mother is the best thing in the world! I love my little girl with all my heart! I am so grateful for my wonderful and healthy little girl. As I sit an ponder this glorious Easter holiday, I am truly amazed with the gift that God has bestowed upon us! Thank-You Jesus for your sacrifice and gift of life!
This evening Kaylynn and I drove Dairy Queen, but it was closed---so we went to Craig Park! We had a wonderful time playing mommy & baby, feeding the ducks, and making new friends! This is a picture of Kaylynn actually posing for the camera! Yes, she knew mommy was taking a picture and she decided to smile anyway! I just love this little girl!
Kaylynn surprised me this evening by actually trying to communicate with this little girl! I am not sure this little girl understood Kaylynn's English babble because she only spoke Spanish! Kaylynn loved this little girl's vibrant personality!
They were actually playing mommy and baby together. The little girl was speaking only Spanish, and Kaylynn was only speaking toddler babble! It was so adorable! You just had to be there!
Kaylynn is really getting into the mommy thing. She wants to take her little baby girl everywhere! I was tickled pink when she started pushing her baby in the swing! Kaylynn was having so much fun pushing her little girl. She tried to be as gentle as possible. She even kissed the baby when she fell off the swing!
Kaylynn is putting the baby back on the swing after she fell off.
Smiling for the camera again! I sure hit the jackpot today with Kaylynn smiling!
Kaylynn is watching the other children playing on the playground. This is so Kaylynn. She is quite the observer and very reluctant around new people. Kaylynn sees the little vibrant Hispanic girl. I could tell right away that Kaylynn wanted to meet her! I was amazed how intenly she was staring at the other little girl. She is so bashful, but we lots of encouragement from mommy---we said hello to the little girl. Mommy translated for Ditty!
Ditty is enjoying the cool breeze as she pushes her baby in the stroller. She is so proud of her little baby! Kaylynn is gazing at the quacking ducks in the distance. Craig Park brings back memories. I use to go to the park to feed the ducks when I was little!
