Tuesday Toot
Tuesday Toot is a time where mothers can toot about their accomplishments outside the realm of motherhood. Most of the time, I find it very difficult to give myself a toot outside of the "mommy" world. I have pleasantly lost myself in motherhood and I couldn't be any happier. However, this Tuesday, I do have something to toot about that is outside the realm of motherhood! I finished a graduate course that I am taking to complete my masters! Yeah! One course closer to having my masters completed!

Happy 6 Months Kaylynn Michelle!
Can you believe Kaylynn actually enjoys wearing her sunglasses? Suprisingly she can keep them on her face! These sunglasses don't seem to bother her much. Kaylynn has a smaller pair of sunglasses that fit her better, but the dark tint freaks her out. She seems to prefer the lighter tint. I am glad that she will wear her sunglasses because this mama likes to take long walks outside with her baby girl! Kaylynn seems to enjoy the nice weather as well. She can be fussy as all get out,but once we go outside the fussiness disappears. Lately, we have been taking long walks so mama can loose her baby weight! Bathing suit season is right around the corner....not a pretty picture for this mama! SUMMER GOAL: SHED 30 POUNDS! I don't think it should be too difficult since I love to run/walk.

Prom
Last night, I chaperoned a high school prom. I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Zamberletti's with my friends who work at the high school with me. The dinner consisted of a tasty prime rib with a side of angel hair pasta and a soothing merlot! The students looked wonderful in their dresses and tuxes. I enjoyed seeing them all dressed up! Their faces illuminated excitement! Although the decorations were beautiful, I was quite disappointed in the refreshments. I was looking forward to chocholate fondu fountain to dip strawberries, but there was none to be found. Actually there were very few refreshments.
Yesterday's Earthquakes
Yesterday, I woke up to a rumbling and shaking bed! My first thought was somebody was breaking in my house to take my daughter! My second thought was "Oh my goodness! We are having an earthquake!" I immediately got up to get Kaylynn, but the rumbling and shaking soon finished, and I was glad that I didn't wake my sleeping baby in a moment of panic. Its not like Indiana gets a lot of earthquakes, and to be awaken from a deadfast sleep caused me to be alarmed. I am glad everything was okay. The first earthquake happened around 5:40am and the second earthquake occured mid morning while I was at school. Here is a link for more information!

The Sweetest Thing You Ever Saw
I took Kaylynn to JC Penny's to get her pictures taken! I am so pleased with the photos and the great customer service that I recieved at the photo shop! I have more photos to upload later, but I need to get ready for Prom! Yes, I will be chaperoning the prom! I am going for the chocolate covered strawberries! YUM!

My Baby Is Growing Up!
Kaylynn is growing up so fast and changing her habits so quickly! Just when I get used to her ways, she changes her habits! When I get use to a feeding schedule, she decides to boycott bottles! Her body is going through some kind of change because she only drank four ounces of milk and a few bites of cereal (today). She slept almost the entire day! (Perhaps she is cutting teeth.) Now that Kaylynn can roll over, she enjoys sleeping on her belly. It tickles me to see her roll over and fall asleep on her belly! My little girl is indeed growing like a weed!
Baby Girl Watching BOZ
Kaylynn is absolutely mesmerized with Boz! This is her favorite DVD. We have tried Praise Baby, Baby Einstein, Barbie, Clifford, and some other children movies, but Kaylynn by far loves BOZ! I just love BOZ because it is extremely POSITIVE AND UPBEAT! I love the messages and Christian morals that are infused in Boz! Thank goodness for Christian companies!
Belly Tickles
Meet Rooster Head!
My Little Rooster Girl Playing In Her High Chair!
My little rooster head girl likes her high chair! She sure has been one big stinkerhead lately! She is refusing bottles...refusing food. She hasn't been eating much lately. My mom and I have tried dancing and other little funny tricks to try to get some liquids and food down her...but she is adamant about not eating! I think God blessed my life with a strong willed child much like myself! HA! (or YIKES!)
